Class A

Motorcycle License

Start your exciting journey on two wheels now. Our experienced instructors guide you safely and confidently on the way to your license!

Moped Moped
  • Minimum age 15
  • Lets you ride a single-track, single-seat vehicle with a max. 50cc engine and a max. speed of 25 km/h

Training includes:

  • 6 double lessons of theory classes
  • 90 minutes of practical training
  • Theory test at TÜV
Scooter, class AM Class AM
  • Minimum age 15
  • Small motorbikes with a max. 50cc engine, a max. speed of 45 km/h and max. 4 kW
  • As well as three- and four-wheeled vehicles with a maximum of 2 seats
Motorcycle, class A1 Class A1
  • Minimum age 16
  • Light motorcycles up to 125cc and 11 kW
  • Power-to-weight ratio max. 0.1 kW/kg
  • Three-wheeled vehicles over 45 km/h and up to 15 kW, e.g. an Ape or Elenator
  • Class AM is included
  • Upgrade to A2 possible after 2 years with a practical test
Motorcycle, class A2 Class A2
  • Minimum age 18
  • Two-wheeled vehicles up to max. 35 kW
  • Power-to-weight ratio max. 0.2 kW/kg
  • Classes AM and A1 are included
  • Upgrade to A possible after 2 years with a practical test
Motorcycle, class A Class A
  • Minimum age 24, or 2+ years holding class A2
  • Two-wheeled vehicles with no restrictions
  • Classes AM, A1 and A2 are included

Class B

Car License

Your car license is the key to freedom and mobility! We prepare you thoroughly for your test, so you're confident and safe on the road!

Car, class B Class B
  • Vehicles up to 3,500 kg gross weight
  • Also with a trailer up to 750 kg gross weight, or a combination not exceeding 3,500 kg gross weight
  • Minimum age 18, or 17 for BF17
  • Classes AM and L are included
Car with trailer, class BE Class BE
  • Combinations of a vehicle up to 3,500 kg gross weight and a trailer of 3,500 kg gross weight
  • Minimum age 18, or 17 for BF17
  • Requires class B, but can be trained alongside class B
  • Only requires practical training and a practical test
Light motorcycle, code B196 Class B196

Requirements:

  • Minimum age 25
  • Held a class B license for 5 years

What you're allowed to ride:

  • Light motorcycles up to max. 125cc and max. 11 kW
  • Power-to-weight ratio max. 0.1 kW/kg
  • No test required

Scope of training:

  • 4 double lessons of motorcycle-specific theory
  • At least 5 double lessons of practical riding

Important:

  • Note: only valid within Germany
  • This does not grant class A1, only the code B196, so no upgrade path is possible
Manual gearbox, code B197 Class B197
  • Available since 01.04.2021
  • Basically the same as class B. During training, however, you'll drive at least 10 lessons in a manual-transmission vehicle, until your instructor confirms you can handle one.
  • You can complete the rest of your training, as well as your practical test, in an automatic vehicle.
  • You'll be issued with the code B197!

Class C

Truck License

Ready to take on the road in a bigger vehicle? Our driving school is your reliable partner for a truck license. Our up-to-date training methods put you in the fast lane of your professional career.

Truck, class C1 Class C1
  • Minimum age 18
  • What you can drive: vehicles up to 7,500 kg gross weight
  • Also with a trailer up to 750 kg gross weight
  • Training: theory and practical training
  • Validity: every "truck class" is only issued for 5 years
  • Tests: even with a class B license, class C1 requires a new theory and practical test
Truck with trailer, class C1E Class C1E
  • What you can drive: class C1 vehicles with a trailer over 750 kg. The combination's permitted total weight is 12,000 kg
  • Class BE is included
  • Training: practical training only
  • Tests: class C1E doesn't require its own theory test, only a practical test
Truck, class C Class C
  • Minimum age 21
  • What you can drive: vehicles over 3,500 kg gross weight
  • Also with a trailer up to 750 kg gross weight
  • Class C1 is included
  • Training: theory and practical training
  • Validity: every "truck class" is only issued for 5 years
  • Tests: even with a class B license, class C requires a new theory and practical test
Articulated truck, class CE Class CE
  • What you can drive: class C vehicles with a trailer over 750 kg
  • Classes BE, C1E and T are included
  • Training: theory and practical training
  • Tests: class CE requires a new theory and practical test

Class D

Bus License

Get behind the wheel of your professional future! Our driving school is the place to go for a bus license. We get you safely and efficiently towards a career as a bus driver.

Minibus, class D1 Class D1
  • Minimum age: 24 (18 for professional driver training)
  • Entitles you to drive a bus carrying more than 8 passengers, plus a trailer up to 750 kg permitted total weight
  • Requires holding class B
  • Includes: D1
Minibus with trailer, class D1E Class D1E
  • Minimum age: 21 (18 for professional driver training)
  • Entitles you to drive a class D1 bus with a trailer over 750 kg permitted total weight
  • Requires holding classes B and D1
  • Includes: BE
Bus, class D Class D
  • Minimum age: 21 (18 for professional driver training)
  • Entitles you to drive vehicles up to 8 metres long, carrying 8 to 16 passengers (plus the driver)
  • May tow a trailer up to 750 kg permitted total weight
  • Requires holding class B
Bus with trailer, class DE Class DE
  • Minimum age: 24 (18 for professional driver training)
  • Entitles you to drive a bus with a trailer whose permitted total weight is over 750 kg
  • Requires holding classes B and D
  • Includes: BE, D1, D1E

ASF (Refresher Seminar)

Attending a refresher seminar for new drivers becomes mandatory if you commit a category A traffic offence, or at least two category B traffic offences, during your probationary period.

  • 4 theory sessions of 135 minutes each
  • 30-minute observation drive (driving sample)

Classes L & T

Agriculture and forestry: tractors and self-propelled machinery. Class L is already included in class B.

Basic qualification, accelerated basic qualification and the recurring continuing training required under BKrFQG.
